UP Scholarship scheme is a prestigious scholarship program of the government of Uttar Pradesh through which financial assistance is provided to all students from a financially backward society. UP Scholarship 2024
This Up scholarship is being run by the Social Welfare Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh. Students can easily apply for this scholarship and this scholarship is for class 9, 10, 11, and 12 of Uttar Pradesh state. This scholarship is divided into 2 categories. One is pre matric where students of classes 9 and 10 can apply and the other is post-matric scholarship where students of classes 11 and 12 can apply. This financial assistance program is basically a fee reimbursement scheme known as SAKSHAM.
Through this scheme, economically backward students get financial assistance for their studies, through which they bear important educational expenses like tuition fees, hostel fees or book purchases. In this scholarship scheme, fresh students can apply in pre-matric and post-matric categories, similarly, previous beneficiaries can participate in the renewal application process in pre-matric and post-matric categories as renewal students.

Eligibility for UP Scholarship 2024-25
Students who want to apply for this Scholarship can take a look at the required eligibility criteria which are given below.
- Only those students who are permanent residents of Uttar Pradesh can apply for this scholarship.
- Students must study in any school or college in Uttar Pradesh.
- Students must be registered in the UP Scholarship Portal with the school or college in which they are studying.
- For a pre-matric scholarship, students must be studying in the 9th or 10th classes and for a post-matric Scholarship, students must be studying in the 11th or 12th classes under any recognized board.

How to Apply Online for UP Scholarship 2024-25?
All the eligible students can apply for the UP Scholarship through the official website. Here are the steps students need to follow to apply for the Pre-Matric and Post-Matric category. The online application steps and process is given below.
Online Registration
- For online registration, students have to visit the official website scholarship.up.gov.in.
- Then students have to click on the student option.
- Now a new interface will open where students have to fill out the online form with all their details.
- In the next step, students need to create a password.
- Then a registration number will be generated which students need to note.
UP Scholarship 2024-25 login & Fill Application
- Students should visit the official website’s homepage after completing their online registration.
- Then navigate to the ‘Fresh Login’ from the ‘Student‘ option.
- Now select the student category like Pre-matic, Intermediate or Post-matric.
- Then enter the registration number, mobile number, password and also solve a captcha.
- Next, click on the submit button.
- After login fill required details like Education, Personal Details, Income, Bank Details, and present School Details.
- Now click on save and proceed.
Document Uploading
Now students need to upload photos. The size of the photo should not be more than 20 KB and the photo should be in JPG/JPEG format
Print Application
Then students have to check everything in the scholarship application form that they have filled and if all the information is correct then submit it and print out a copy of the submitted application.
Submit the form at the school/institute
After printing the application form along with supporting documents students need to submit their own school or college.
