PM Kisan 18th Installment
PM Kisan Yojana is a financial assistance scheme of the Central Government in which the Central Government contributes 100%. Through this scheme, small and marginal farmers are provided financial assistance of Rs.6000 per annum, which is directly credited to their bank accounts in three equal installments. The 18th installment is released on October 5, 2024. For this 18th installment, the central government will spend twenty thousand crores of rupees to pay 2000 rupees in the accounts of about 9.5 crore landholding farmers from all parts of the country.
The 17th Installment was released on 18th June 2024, and Rs.2000 was paid into the accounts of about 9.26 crore farmers, which means this time more than 24 lakh additional farmers have been added to avail of this benefit. E-KYC tax is mandatory for farmers to avail of this facility. To do E-KYC, farmers have to visit the official website or do it through biometrics at Common Service Centres.

PM Kisan Eligibility Criteria
The scheme is run by the central government through which an annual grant of Rs 6000 is given to farmers in all states. The eligibility criteria to apply for this scheme are described below in this article.
- To apply for this scheme you must be a citizen of India.
- All those farmers who have up to two hectares of cultivated land in their name can apply for this scheme.
- Small and marginal farmers in rural or urban areas can apply for this scheme.
- Class-4, group D, and multi-tasking staff are eligible to apply.
Who is Excluded from PM KISAN?
- No institutional land owner can apply under this scheme.
- Working or retired government employees can’t take advantage of this scheme
- If a farmer is an income tax payer then he is ineligible..
- Present and former members of the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha cannot apply. That means If a farmer holds any constitutional position then they are not eligible to apply.
- Doctors, Engineers, Chartered Accountants, Advocates, and Architects, who are established in their professional capacity are not eligible for this scheme.
- A person or his family receiving a pension equal to or more than Rs.10000 after retirement cannot apply for this scheme.
How to Check PM Kisan Beneficiary List?
Through the Pradhan Mantri Krisan Sammannidhi Yojana, financial assistance of Rs 6,000 is provided annually in three equal installments to registered farmers. - Applicants must first visit the official portal to check the PM Kisan Beneficiary List at https://Pmkisan.gov.in/.
- Then you need to go to the beneficiary list,
- After going to the Beneficiary section from there first you have to select your state then district then sub-district then block and lastly select your village.
- Then click on the Get Report option.
- Now check your name in the beneficiary list.
How to Check PM Kisan Beneficiary Status?
Every applicant has to visit the official website to check the Beneficiary Status. It should be kept in mind that e-KYC is very important for registered farmers to avail of this facility. Below this post describes in detail how a farmer can check his status.
- To check the Beneficiary Status first visit the official website at https://Pmkisan.gov.in/.
- Then you have to click on the Know Your Status option.
- Then a new page will open where you have to enter your registered mobile number and click on the Get OTP option below.
- Then you will get an OTP on your registered mobile number and by entering that OTP you can check the status of your beneficiary.
PM Kisan e-KYC Process 2024
Enrolled farmers must complete e-KYC to get the 18th installment of PM Kisan. So the process of how to do E-KYC is detailed below for the convenience of all the beneficiaries.
- To do e-KYC you have to visit the official portal at https://Pmkisan.gov.in/.
- Then you have to click on the e-KYC option.
- On the new page enter your aadhaar number then click on the search option.
- Then you will get an OTP on your registered mobile number and click on the submit option after entering that OTP.
- After OTP verification your e-KYC will be completed.
