Chief Minister Paryatan Siksha Yojana (CMPSY) is a unique initiative of the Arunachal Government’s Tourism Department whose main objective of this scheme is to develop and promote the tourism industry. Only students belonging to the Schedule Tribe or ST category can participate in this program. Through this scheme, the Arunachal Government provides opportunities for students to study subjects like Tourism and Hospitality in reputed institutes recognized by the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology, and the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. Through this scheme, students can participate in higher studies like Diploma, B.Sc. or Post Graduation in Tourism and Hospitality subjects.
CMPSY Yojana 2024
Arunachal Government through the Chief Minister Paryatan Siksha Yojana (CMPSY) is playing a leading role in the development of the tourism industry as well as focusing on the education of the students. The most important requirement for the development of the tourism industry is skilled individuals. Skilled individuals can help to grow the tourism industry so the government has opened a new horizon for students in higher studies like a Diploma, B.Sc., or Post Graduation in Tourism and Hospitality subject. Through this scheme, 8 students will get sponsorship from Govt for 3 years B.Sc course. And 25 students will get sponsorship from Govt for a 1.5-year diploma course.
For, B.Sc. courses, students can complete the course on hospitality and catering subjects and for diploma or PGD courses, students can complete courses on some important subjects like Food Production, Bakery and Confectioneries, Food and Beverage Service etc. Interested applicants should visit their nearest District Tourism office to apply for this scheme.

Eligibility of CMPSY Yojana
- The student must be a permanent resident of Arunachal Pradesh.
- Only scheduled tribe category students can apply.
- For diploma courses, the student must pass class 10.
- To apply for B.Sc. courses, the student must pass class 12.
- To apply for graduation courses, the student must be graduated.
- Students must obtain good marks in the last final exam.

How Do You Apply For CMPSY?

- Visit Tourism Office
Interested applicants must visit their district Tourism Office after the notification is released.
- Collect Information
After that, you have to collect all the necessary information regarding CMPSY from the office.
- Apply
Now you have to apply offline by writing an application that you want to participate in the scheme. If the district tourism office provides any prescribed form then fill the form.

After completing the above step, you have to attach all the required documents.
