Odisha CM Kisan Yojana

Odisha CM Kisan Yojana is a prestigious scheme of the Government of Odish, which was launched by the present Chief Minister of Odisha, Shri Mohan Majhi, on 8th September 2024. The government of Odisha has allocated Rs.1935 crores in the budget of 2024-25 for this project. This project is an effort to make small, medium, and landless farmers financially prosperous.

Through this scheme, all farmers are given financial assistance of Rs.4000 in two separate installments. Apart from this, all the landless farmers who are engaged in agricultural work are given an annual assistance of Rs 12500. Through this, the government helps all the farmers in their agricultural work. The farmers involved in the agricultural work can also become strong by getting financial support.

Benefits of Odisha CM Kisan Yojana

1. The eligible farmers belonging to both urban and rural areas will receive financial assistance of Rs 6000 annually under this scheme.
2. Small and marginal farmers of the Odisha state will also get financial support of Rs 4000 from this scheme.
3. All the farmers living in urban areas in Odisha who are part of this scheme will get financial assistance of Rs.6000.
4. Through CM Kisan Yojana, all the landless farmers who are engaged in agricultural work will also get an annual agricultural assistance of Rs 12500.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Small and marginal farmers can apply for this scheme.
2. Only permanent residents of Odisha to apply for this scheme.
3. All those landless farmer families whose main source of livelihood is agriculture can apply for this scheme.
4. In this scheme, it is mandatory to link the Aadhaar card with the bank account of the applicants so that the financial assistance can be transferred to the account of the applicants through direct bank transfer.
5. If the applicant is below 18, then he/she cannot apply for this scheme.
6. Only one member from any family can apply for this scheme.
7. Income tax payer are not eligible to apply.
