The Chief Minister Ladli Behna Yojana is a prestigious scheme of the Government of Madhya Pradesh which was launched on 18th January 2023. The main objective of this scheme is to provide financial assistance to married women and try to make them self-reliant. Through this scheme, the Madhya Pradesh government provides financial assistance to every married widow or divorced woman in its state.

When this initiative started i.e. on 18th January 2023, through this scheme direct bank transfer (DBT) of Rs 1000 was transferred to the bank account of each beneficiary. Later the Madhya Pradesh government increased the financial grant from Rs 1,000 to Rs 1,250 keeping in mind the beneficiaries.

1. Applicants should be permanent residents of Madhya Pradesh.
