The recruitment notification for the current financial year i.e. 2024 has been released in almost all departments of RRB and its online application process has been completed. These include Assistant Loco Pilot, RPF SI, Technician, Junior Engineer and NTPC. RRB ALP admit card will be released first and NTPC admit card will be released at the end.
RRB NTPC Admit Card 2024
RRB non-technical popular category i.e. RRB NTPC admit card applicants can download from any RRB board’s official website. This recruitment process for 11558 vacancies in various posts like Chief Commercial cum Ticket Supervisor, Goods Train Manager, Junior Accountant, Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Junior Clerk cum Typist will be conducted through CBT-1 exam. The admit card will be released by the official website very soon.
However, the exam date and admit card release information is not yet published by the official department but it can be assumed that NTPC exam will be conducted after RRB Junior Engineer Exam.
The NTPC Graduate and Under Graduate Exam is likely to be conducted in the last week of December or January. The ALP, RPF SI, Technician and Junior Engineer post’s CBT-1 Exam will be conducted from 25th November 2024 to 17th December 2024 in various Online Exam Centers across India and NTPC Exam will be held after that. How To Download RRB NTPC Admit Card in 2024?
Candidates who will participate in RRB NTPC exam must download their admit card from the official website. An admit card contains a candidate’s exam city, exam date and many important instructions. So the admit card plays an important role for any candidate. Not only that a candidate can never participate in the exam of NTPC without the admit card. They must download their admit card within four days before the exam. Below I’ve provided the step by step guide to download the admit card.
- Candidates should first visit the website of RRB Board under which Board they have applied.
- Then they have to click on CEN 05/2024: RRB NTPC Call Letter or CEN 06/2024: RRB NTPC Call Letter.
- Then a new web page will open in front of the candidates where candidates have to provide their NTPC registration number and date of birth. And only then they have to click on submit button option.
- In the next step, the admit card download option will open in front of the candidates and by clicking there, the candidates can download their admit card in the pdf format.
- After that the candidates have to take a color print out of that admit card.

It is very important for a candidate to check his NTPC Exam Admit Card thoroughly after downloading it. Candidates must ensure that their passport size photograph and signature are clearly visible in their admit card. If there is any problem i.e. the image or signature is unclear or missing, then the candidates should contact the respective authority immediately to resolve it.

RRB NTPC Exam Pattern
The exam of NTPC CBT-1 will be organized on three subjects including Mathematics, General Intelligence Reasoning and General Awareness. There will be total 100 questions in three subjects and each question will carry one mark. The total duration of this exam of 100 marks will be 90 minutes or one and a half hours. In case of general category category the applicant must secure 40% percent marks in the examination. In case of OBC and SC category it will be 30% and in case of ST category it will be 25%. And only then they will qualify for the next stage i.e. CBT-2. The CBT-1 exam has negative marking. 1/3rd marks will be deducted from the candidate’s obtained marks for each wrong answer.
